When my sister was a little girl she had a nanny who was maybe just 4'10" tall, dumpy, frumpy, with whiskers, and who smelt bad, always, we loved her for her kindness and sense, my sister called her "beautiful", she just saw the person not the outward appearance, she hadn't yet taken on our bad habit of looking at the outside. 1 Samuel 16:7 reads "The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”. During the pandemic I am seeing beautiful people, people who care for each other. The pandemic is ugly, but it's helping to shine some people.
